Introduction Post

Hi, I’m Wendy and this is my daughter Sam. Sam has Autism Spectrum Disorder and has been diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa. Her doctors recommend inpatient treatment due to her low weight. I have concerns about inpatient treatment, so, while we are on the priority waiting list we are going to attempt to do our own sort of inpatient treatment at home. We would like to document our journey in hopes it will help others going through similar experiences. So, without further delay, welcome to Unearthing Sunshine.
